Summary:

An HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of the glucocorticoids betamethasone and dexamethasone is described. The method based on the separation of these compounds using a binary watertetrahyddrofuran mobile phase and a reversed-phase Hypersil C18 column, was applied to the determination of betamethasone and dexamethasone in tablets.
